Congratulations to everyone associated with 'Alleys' !!! It received five nominations (Best Short, Best Writing, Best Sound, Best Cinematography, Best Romantic Comedy) at the recent Top Indie Films Awards and won for Best Romantic Comedy.
"Excellent unconventional love story with fantastic writing, cinematography, sound, and music. Loved the opening with the funny roommate humor and most importantly the dark realistic turn when the homeless friend V passes away. The scene with Josh's friends also felt very authentic and natural. The ending was especially moving when his ex finds him so devastated. Great balance of tone with sadness but some comedy (like Josh riding his skateboard to Lani's house only to be embarrassingly spotted on the approach by her new boyfriend), hope (the nice moment in the kitchen with the redhead kissing Josh), etc. Not your typical terrible Hollywood rom com. Very well done. Most of it all, it felt real."

Birds Dropping Review
Author - CineArtistry
"A hilarious little short film about two women headed to a wedding when their car suddenly breaks down in the middle of the desert. Much in the same vein as a show like Seinfeld, the two characters are so petty that their actions ultimately worsen their own situation ... We’re excited to see kinds of films these guys will be making in the future, especially if they ever make a feature film."
Hollywood North Magazine Reviews "Chocolate Cake"
“A romantic conjuring of the tangential ideations that exist in every charged moment—a visual poem of the mind engaged.”
